Caddis Emerger

October 4, 2008

Working with the materials I currently have I tied a dozen caddis emergers. These flies are meant to represent the stage when a caddis larva breaks free from its underwater shell and begins to take flight from the water. This should help me when I see caddis rising from the water. Fish it as a dropper behind a caddis dry fly. I tied this dozen in size 16. That makes 2/50.
